This DVD features great excerpts from Bernie’s congressional speeches over the years, defending the same progressive proposals that form the core of his campaign today. This strategy was pursued because there are no copyright issues impeding use of these clips. Additional videos may become available in the future, as feasible.
Bernie’s great support among millenials is reflective, in part, of their avid involvement with computers and social media. Through these media, they get a chance to learn about Bernie’s admirable career and the scope of his policy proposals. But many older people don’t use social media, and some don’t make much use of computers. And some rural regions may not even have internet access. So a great many people know about Bernie only from brief clips shown on news shows — often accompanied by belittling or denigratory comments by a pundit — or sound bite answers in debates. This DVD is a great way to reach out to people who, for whatever reason, haven’t yet had the chance to grasp Bernie’s full vision for this country.
