Hilllary Clinton is taking some heat from a number of sources for her campaign emails that were released by Wikileaks. And some of them do show the process of “making sausage” is less than pristine. But, as I see it, the most amazing thing so far is that they are as benign as they are. Compared to other email leaks of such things as Sony executives or even Colin Powell, they show mainly good ideas and good plans for governance in the setting of attacks that would make anyone paranoid.
But they also give Clinton’s enemies and opponents unfair advantage. Never before have we had such insight into how an election is run. And never have we seen, not only the results of discussions within the staff, but the actual discussions themselves. Many of the ideas of what to do in the election were rejected by the staff, but they are still there and being trumpeted.
So, Mr. Trump. Would you please release the emails from you election campaign staff as well. It just seems fair that we see how you have come to this point, what your staff has discussed, considered, rejected, and applied in your campaign. You use the Clinton emails, selectively edited, as a marker for what Clinton believes and how she will govern. Let us see the same for you so that we can choose fairly.
The taxes would also be nice, but you have decided that the audit precludes us seeing anything more than we have. So please give us the emails.
